The long and strange journey to transform our 1942 war cottage style house into a (circa) 1914 Craftsman bungalow, without going completely nutz.
The city building inspector was just here and approved the final changes I made to the exterior steps and smoke detectors. This means the building permits for the second story addition, opened over 4 years ago, are now closed.
